I am the founder of Ross University, which is one of the largest medical and veterinary schools in the world with US students enrolled. I have formed International Distance Learning Inc. to teach the curricula of US universities to students at universities throughout the world, particularly in Eastern Europe, Far East, Africa, Middle East and third world countries via the Internet, stand-alone modules, or other electronic methods.

The programs will include medicine, veterinary medicine, adult education, physical therapy, physical assistants, scientific English, nursing, law, MBA, and other educational programs. They will be taught in classroom settings, with the number of students per classroom ranging from 200 to several hundred. The degrees will be granted by the US universities. This would enable your students, when they graduate, to obtain employment in the western world at salaries that are higher than they can earn in their own country, if they so desire. Your university would issue a similar degree to the students who graduate.

We would be interested in discussing a joint venture with your university to offer your students these programs. The US university would furnish the faculty to work with your faculty and students to ensure that your programs are being taught properly. Your university would be required to furnish the classrooms, equipment, and materials necessary to teach the programs. Your faculty and students must speak, read, and write English to participate in these programs.

This type of distance education is projected to become a trillion dollar a year business, and by the year 2002 we anticipate that we will have more than 100,000 students enrolled in these programs. The financial rewards to your university would be very substantial.
